Khalid El Khatib
Khalid is (slowly) writing his first book about his experiences growing up in Iowa and New York as the gay son of a Muslim father. He is a contributor to Hello Mr., the Huffington Post, Mic., PAPER Magazine, and VICE.
He is Vice President of Communications and Marketing for GLG - the world’s largest platform for professional learning. Previously, he worked in communications at Teach For America and then as a senior director at Group SJR, a digital marketing agency within WPP, where he led a diverse portfolio of accounts including General Electric, Goldman Sachs, TED, and Xerox.
Originally from Dubuque, Iowa, Khalid graduated from Washington University in St. Louis with a bachelor's degree in creative writing, political science, and psychology. He lives in New York City.
